I initially got into photography in high school, somewhere slowly overtime I just flourished. I started out in a 6x8 ft room that I used mainly for newborns (my first ever newborn I actually photographed in my living room of my home). I realized that there was a lot more that I could be doing and wanted to do but needed a bigger space. I also got pregnant with my daughter which was also the big push since I had basically a built in model.
My dad, who does all my renovations for me had said, "why not move across the hall?" So i did just that, I brought everything right next door in the same building and I reopened into a 600sq ft space that is everything I need. My daughter is my biggest inspiration for photography now, she was the first one photographed in the new studio and I love being able to capture her milestones and document her childhood every step of the way.
The studio is located in the Central Village Plaza in Plainfield, Connecticut. It is 600 square feet and is a open and serene atmosphere. I offer in studio newborn/family, maternity, sitter sessions (3,6,9 months), cake smashes, family sessions, and more. I also have a client closet that includes dresses for clients to use during their session if desired, as well as all handmade and vintage inspired sitter outfits for boys and girls. All props are from high end vendors and most are handmade. I am a lover for rustic, vintage, country vibes; neutral tones (lately loving color).
